Inbound to Pakistan

  1. SHIPPER/CONSIGNEE/NOTIFY
    1. The shipper, consignee and notify party must provide complete and specific names, addresses and contact details.
    2. The consignee and notify party shall supply their National Tax Number (NTN).
  2. CARGO NAME
    1. Cargo Description: Accurate and specific commodity names, packing types shall be provided, together with the 6-digit HS Codes corresponding to all goods.
    2. Gross weight and net weight of cargo must be specified.
  3. HS code

    Uniformly provide 6-digit commodity HS Codes.

  4. SOC

    When using shipper-owned containers, the NTN (National Tax Number) of the container owner must be indicated.

  5. Regulations for Cargo Transiting via Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan
    1. Direct shipment of cargo to Afghanistan or transshipment via Afghanistan is prohibited at this stage.
    2. For cargo transiting via Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the corresponding transit clause must be stated on the main body of the bill of lading:：
      • Uzbekistan：CARGO IN TRANSIT TO UZBEKISTAN VIA KARACHI THROUGH TAFTAN / GABD BORDER.
      • Tajikistan：CARGO IN TRANSIT TO TAJEKISTAN VIA KARACHI THROUGH TAFTAN / GABD BORDER.

      The above transit clauses shall only take effect with the following disclaimer attached simultaneously:
      AT CONSIGNEE'S OWN RISK AND COST. CARRIER'S RESPONSIBILITY CEASES AT KARACHI PORT, PAKISTAN.
