Doc Rules

Inbound to Australia

  1. SHIPPER/CONSIGNEE/NOTIFY
    1. Shipper: Full and accurate company name, address, email address and contact information shall be provided.
    2. Consignee and Notify Party:
      • At least one party shall be the consignee with name and address located in Australia.
      • Full and accurate company name, address, email address, Australian Business Number (ABN) and contact details must be provided.
    3. If the consignee is shown as "TO ORDER", "TO ORDER OF SHIPPER" or "TO ORDER OF BANK", full and accurate company name, address, email address, Australian Business Number (ABN) and contact details of the notify party must be provided.
  2. CARGO NAME

    Full and accurate cargo description must be provided.

  3. HS Code

    A 6-digit or 8-digit HS Code must be provided.

    If multiple commodities are loaded in one container, the corresponding HS Code for each commodity shall be listed, together with the association to the container.

  4. AMENDMENTS MANIFEST

    Any amendments to the following particulars after lodging the manifest with Customs will incur penalties:

    1. Consignee
    2. Gross Weight
    3. Number of Packages
    4. Bill of Lading Split & Consolidation
    5. Cargo Description
    6. Bill of Lading Date
    7. Seal Number
    8. Port of Discharge / Place of Delivery
  5. SOC

    The container certification for SOC containers must be submitted.
