Inbound to Malaysia

  1. SHIPPER/CONSIGNEE/NOTIFY
    1. The Shipper, Consignee, and Notify Party must provide accurate and complete company names, addresses, email addresses, and contact details.
    2. For the Consignee and Notify Party, if the Consignee is listed as "TO ORDER", "TO ORDER OF SHIPPER", or "TO ORDER OF BANK", the Notify Party must provide accurate and complete company names, addresses, email addresses, and contact details.
    3. Between the Consignee and the Notify Party, at least one must provide a consignee name and address located in Malaysia. Foreign consignee names and addresses will not be accepted and may result in severe customs penalties.
  2. CARGO NAME

    Full and accurate cargo description must be provided.

  3. HS Code

    A 6-digit or 8-digit HS Code must be provided.

    If multiple types of goods are loaded in one container, the corresponding HS Code for each commodity shall be listed with its relevance to the container indicated.

  4. MANIFEST

    The manifest must be filed with the Customs at the port of discharge 48 hours prior to vessel arrival.

  5. AMENDMENTS MANIFEST

    Amendments to the following information on the import manifest will result in penalties:

    1. Consignee, Place of Delivery, Cargo Description
    2. Gross Weight, Number of Packages
    3. Seal Number
    4. Bill of Lading Date
    5. Addition of Bill of Lading, Bill of Lading Split
  6. SOC

    For all SOC (Shipper Owned Container) shipments, telex release shall be adopted in lieu of original bills of lading. If the shipper requests original bills of lading, confirmation with our company is mandatory.
